Do you only work with food and beverage companies?

F&B is our primary focus and where we go deepest. We also work with manufacturers in other verticals. BC is a strong manufacturing ERP regardless of industry. If you’re a food processor, you benefit from our industry-specific knowledge. If you’re in another vertical, you still get a rigorous, experienced implementation.

How much does an implementation cost?

It depends on scope, complexity, and customization needs. A straightforward single-site implementation is a different conversation than a multi-facility GP migration with 15 years of data. We provide fixed-scope proposals after discovery so you know the number before you commit.

What about ongoing support costs?

We offer fixed-fee partnership plans that include support, customizations, and enhancements scoped to your environment’s complexity. No hourly billing. We also offer other support arrangements depending on your needs.

We’re on Dynamics GP. How hard is the migration?

It depends on your customizations and data complexity, but GP-to-BC migration is well-trodden ground. Microsoft has built migration tooling, and the cloud platform eliminates a lot of the infrastructure headaches. The biggest work is usually assessing your GP customizations and deciding what gets rebuilt, replaced, or retired in BC. We’ve built tools specifically for this (including FRAS for financial reporting continuity). Most migrations take 3-9 months.

What about NAV?

NAV is Business Central’s predecessor; they share significant architectural DNA. NAV migrations are often simpler than GP migrations, but customizations still need to be assessed and rebuilt as AL extensions. We can assess your environment and give you a realistic timeline and cost.

Are you a Canadian company?

Yes. BCCI is Canadian-owned and operated, based in Ontario. We understand Canadian food safety regulations (CFIA, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, Health Canada) and we serve Canadian processors, including those selling cross-border into the US who need ERP that handles both CFIA and FDA/FSMA compliance.

Do you work with clients outside Canada?

Yes. BC is a global platform. Our deepest regulatory knowledge is in Canadian (CFIA, SFCR, Health Canada) and U.S. (FDA, FSMA) compliance. If you’re a North American food processor, we’re a strong fit.
